Paper Work, love the Paper Work....

It was painful, in the pocket book, $240 dollars later.... the paperwork has been signed and filed and now it's just the waiting. We have to attend parenting classes, even though my youngest is 17.. but whatever.

So 91 days from today, after I send the paper back to the court with the date I want for the case, it should be final. I wanted to set the date as 11-11, but that's Veteran's Day, and I don't think the court will be open on that day. Darn.

After that, the real fun begins. With papers in hand there is all the name changing things to do. So really, I will have spent $240 to get rid of the ex-baggage and the opportunity to change my last name to whatever I want. I've always believed there were dragons, I've always thought it would be fun to be a dragon, and NOW I will be one.

I'll have more to report after the parenting class, and when I decide on the final date.
